Acronis RMM alternative: pricing and feature comparison
Acronis RMM belongs to a broad cyber-protection platform spanning backup, security, disaster recovery, and PSA. Nizlo is a narrower, earlier-stage RMM with public pricing. This is not a parity claim: compare the complete service stack and the operating model your team can prove.
Start with scope, not a feature-count headline
Ask Acronis or its partner for the exact RMM, backup, storage, security, PSA, support, and workload assumptions in writing. Compare that total with Nizlo’s published plan plus any tools you would retain. A lower line item is not a lower operating cost when required protection or recovery work sits elsewhere.
| Area | Acronis RMM | Nizlo |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial path | Acronis presents RMM as an add-on within Cyber Protect Cloud and directs buyers into a trial, calculator, partner, or sales path; enabled services and workload or storage usage affect the complete cost. | $59/month Core, $79/month Scale, or $99/month Suite; one technician and unlimited RMM endpoints are included, with additional technicians at $15/month. |
| Platform scope | A broader cyber-protection platform connecting RMM with PSA, backup, disaster recovery, EDR, XDR, and other managed services. | An earlier-stage RMM with lighter ticketing and a narrower operating surface; it does not claim equivalent cyber-protection or ecosystem breadth. |
| Endpoint coverage | Acronis documents remote-management and protection workflows across Windows, macOS, and Linux, with capability depending on workload, plan, agent, and protocol. | Windows and macOS agents are available for managed deployment. Nizlo remains Windows-first; a Linux x64/ARM64 monitoring preview supports health, inventory, services, reviewed Bash jobs, and permission-gated terminal access. Linux remote desktop and patch management are not available yet. |
| Patching and automation | Patch management, fail-safe pre-patch backup, software deployment, scripting plans, remote command line, discovery, and AI-assisted workflows within the wider platform. | Windows patch operations, scripts, reusable workflows, alerts, remote support, and reporting for a controlled small-team pilot. |
| Backup and recovery | Broad physical, virtual, cloud, SaaS, security, recovery, storage, and disaster-recovery options designed for MSP service delivery. | Suite includes five protected backup endpoints and 1 TB of pooled cloud storage. It is not positioned as parity with Acronis backup or disaster recovery. |
| Evaluation | Acronis offers a Try Now path and product tour; confirm the current trial term, enabled packs, included workloads, storage, and partner conditions before testing. | A self-service 14-day Core or Scale trial with no credit card, no required sales call, and no automatic paid conversion. |
Acronis is the stronger fit when
- backup, disaster recovery, security, and RMM must share a mature platform
- Windows, macOS, Linux, virtual, cloud, and SaaS workloads need broader protection coverage
- fail-safe patching and integrated cyber-recovery workflows are firm requirements
- your MSP can model the enabled packs, workloads, storage, and partner economics
Nizlo may be worth testing when
- a small Windows-first MSP wants public monthly pricing and a narrower RMM pilot
- one technician manages enough RMM endpoints that per-workload costs need comparison
- a 14-day no-card evaluation should start without a required sales process
- direct product feedback matters more than an established security and backup ecosystem

The first five successful paid upgrades receive 75% off for life, the next five receive 50% off for life, and the next ten receive 25% off for life. Applying or starting a trial does not reserve a position; successful paid-upgrade order determines the tier.
