GoTo Resolve alternative: pricing and feature comparison

GoTo Resolve is now LogMeIn Resolve: a broad UEM, RMM, remote support, helpdesk, asset, automation, and security platform. Nizlo is a narrower, earlier-stage Windows-first RMM with public flat pricing. They are not equivalent products.

The honest short version

LogMeIn Resolve is the stronger current choice when the decision depends on UEM, mobile devices, broad remote support, integrated helpdesk, IT asset management, endpoint protection, AI, or a mature service platform. Nizlo does not claim that breadth. Its case is a smaller Windows-first operating scope, transparent flat plans, and a controlled trial that keeps specialist tools outside the RMM when necessary.

Current name

LogMeIn Resolve: GoTo renamed GoTo Resolve to LogMeIn Resolve in January 2025. The current product page uses LogMeIn Resolve; the console still uses gotoresolve.com URLs.

Nizlo: Nizlo is an independent, earlier-stage Windows-first RMM product.

Evaluation and pricing

LogMeIn Resolve: The current product page offers Start for Free and See Plans and Pricing, while the product overview confirms free and paid versions. Verify the current plan, agent, device, add-on, and term boundaries before comparing cost.

Nizlo: $59/month Core, $79/month Scale, or $99/month Suite, with one technician and unlimited RMM endpoints included. The 14-day trial requires no credit card.

Platform breadth

LogMeIn Resolve: Resolve supports users across PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and Chromebook. Its current page specifically lists unattended access across Windows, Mac, and Android, plus broader UEM and MDM capabilities.

Nizlo: Windows and macOS agents are available, but the strongest current fit remains Windows-first. Nizlo does not claim mobile-device or Chromebook management parity.

RMM operations

LogMeIn Resolve: Device monitoring, alerts, Windows and application updates, antivirus management, endpoint protection, remote execution, AI-assisted scripting, scheduling, remote terminal, background file management, and self-healing alerts.

Nizlo: Monitoring, alerts, Windows patching, scripts, jobs, reports, services, software inventory, and retained technician evidence in a narrower, earlier-stage workflow.

Support and service

LogMeIn Resolve: Unattended and clientless remote support, multi-session work, mobile agent tools, helpdesk, incident management, customer portal, AI self-service, and remote-session history.

Nizlo: Built-in remote workflows and a ticketing foundation. Nizlo does not claim equivalent helpdesk, AI, mobile-agent, or multi-session breadth.

Assets, security, and MSP scope

LogMeIn Resolve: Hardware and software asset management, license tracking, Zero Trust identity-based access controls, MFA, AES/TLS protections, integrations, and multi-tenancy on the MSP tier.

Nizlo: Customer-aware RMM organization, technician roles, activity evidence, and public flat pricing, with a smaller ecosystem and no claim of UEM, MDM, endpoint-protection, or ITAM parity.

LogMeIn Resolve is the stronger fit when

A broader unified IT platform is the requirement

  • mobile-device management, Chromebook support, or cross-platform UEM is required now
  • remote support, RMM, helpdesk, asset management, endpoint protection, and AI belong in one platform
  • the team needs the current Resolve integration, security, and service-delivery breadth
  • an established vendor and documented MSP tier matter more than public flat pricing

Nizlo may be worth testing when

The operating model is narrower and Windows-first

  • public flat monthly pricing is easier to model than plan and add-on boundaries
  • the required PSA, security, backup, documentation, and mobile tools can remain separate
  • the pilot centers on Windows monitoring, patching, scripts, remote work, reports, and customer context
  • an earlier-stage product and direct influence on priorities are acceptable tradeoffs

Compare the current Resolve plan—not an old GoTo price.

The public product page points buyers to current plans and pricing but does not expose an exact figure in the page evidence used here. Record the actual plan, billing term, agent and device limits, MSP tier, required add-ons, onboarding, and renewal terms. Compare that complete cost with Nizlo’s flat plan plus every tool retained for PSA, security, backup, documentation, mobile devices, and unsupported platforms.

Run the same pilot in both products

Begin with authorized lab or noncritical systems. Define the expected outcome before setup and preserve the evidence needed to explain the decision later.

Test 1Enroll the same authorized Windows and macOS endpoints; reconcile identity, customer placement, inventory, agent health, duplicates, and removal.
Test 2Trigger identical offline, service, disk, and resource conditions; compare thresholds, routing, persistence, recovery, noise, and technician effort.
Test 3Run the same Windows and application patch scenarios; compare approval, policy, scheduling, reboot, exception, failure, and reporting evidence.
Test 4Execute the same harmless script and background file task; compare targeting, privilege, output, retries, offline behavior, and activity history.
Test 5Open attended and unattended support sessions; compare setup, roles, consent, multi-session behavior, revocation, and retained evidence.
Test 6Create the same service request; compare intake, endpoint context, ownership, escalation, customer communication, closure, and reporting.
Test 7Price the real fleet using the current Resolve plan or quote, required add-ons, agents, devices, and terms versus Nizlo plus every retained tool.
Test 8Remove agents, revoke technicians, stop policies and schedules, export required records, and prove that remote and background access no longer succeeds.
