Atera vs SuperOps: which pricing model fits your MSP?
Atera centers its commercial model on technicians with unlimited devices. SuperOps currently centers pricing on endpoints with unlimited technicians and a 150-endpoint minimum. Compare the same fleet, service workflow, and written scope—not a generic feature score.
The decision in one paragraph
Shortlist Atera when a small number of technicians manage many devices and integrated MSP billing workflows matter. Shortlist SuperOps when a fleet of at least 150 endpoints, unlimited technician access, and its combined endpoint and service-desk scope fit the operating model. Prove both conclusions with the same quote inputs, endpoints, and service workflow.
Pricing model
Atera: Per technician with unlimited devices. Atera's current MSP page lists Pro at $129 per technician/month billed annually or $139 billed monthly; higher tiers and optional add-ons change the total.
SuperOps: The current official pricing page describes per-endpoint monthly pricing with unlimited technicians, volume-based endpoint rates, and a quote for the selected plan and fleet.
Minimum and scale
Atera: The commercial unit is each console user who needs a technician license, while managed customers and devices are unlimited within the selected plan.
SuperOps: The current pricing FAQ states a 150-endpoint minimum. Larger fleets receive lower per-endpoint rates, so compare the exact quoted band rather than extrapolating one unit price.
Evaluation path
Atera: Atera currently advertises a 30-day trial without a credit card and says the evaluation provides access to the Expert plan.
SuperOps: SuperOps currently advertises a 14-day trial without a credit card on its signup page, while exact commercial pricing is prepared from plan and fleet size.
Endpoint coverage
Atera: Windows is included across MSP plans; current plan details place Mac and Linux support in Growth and higher tiers. Network discovery is offered separately.
SuperOps: Prime covers Windows, macOS, and Linux computers and servers. Prime Plus adds documented iOS, iPadOS, and Android MDM capabilities.
RMM and patching
Atera: Monitoring, alerts, remote management, scripting, software deployment, patching, automation, and remote access are packaged by plan.
SuperOps: Monitoring, automation, patch policies, software management, network discovery, remote troubleshooting, and reporting sit in the endpoint platform.
PSA and service desk
Atera: The MSP product includes ticketing, contracts, billing, time tracking, customer management, reporting, and accounting integrations, with plan-specific differences.
SuperOps: The current Prime feature list includes ticketing, service desk, knowledge base, projects, technician timesheets, scheduling, documentation, and integrations.
Remote support and AI
Atera: Pro includes limited concurrent Splashtop access; higher tiers add unlimited Splashtop and AnyDesk. AI Copilot is included in current plans, while Robin is positioned separately.
SuperOps: Splashtop is included, with bring-your-own TeamViewer and ScreenConnect options documented. Current AI features include ticket and worklog assistance, scripts, intelligent alerting, and Agentic OS beta positioning.
Atera is the stronger shortlist when
A small technician team manages many devices
- per-technician economics can be modeled more easily than endpoint bands
- unlimited managed devices are important at the selected technician tier
- contracts, billing, time tracking, and accounting workflows belong beside RMM
- a published 30-day no-card evaluation fits the pilot schedule
SuperOps is the stronger shortlist when
Fleet scope and unlimited technicians fit the model
- a 150-endpoint-or-larger fleet can be quoted at the required volume band
- unlimited technician access is more important than unlimited devices
- RMM, service desk, documentation, projects, and current AI workflows need one evaluation
- Prime Plus mobile-device management belongs in the operating scope

A narrower third option
Nizlo is for a different pilot scope
Nizlo is an earlier-stage Windows-first RMM, not a claim of Atera or SuperOps parity. It may suit a controlled test when PSA, billing, mature AI, broad integrations, and mobile-device management already live elsewhere, while public flat RMM pricing and direct product access matter.

Founding Tester discounts are awarded by successful paid upgrade order: the first five receive 75% off for life, the next five 50%, and the next ten 25%. Applying or starting a trial does not reserve a position.
